Tech
I’ve been a full-stack engineer for over a decade, mostly focused on TypeScript/Node.js. A ton of experience working AWS and passionate about building strong developer experiences and internal tools that make our lives easier. I’ve always been a tinkerer at heart, and I love trying out new technologies.
Early on in my career, I was deep in the data engineering side of things including data pipelines, high-scale event-driven systems, and integrations driving a major consumer tech partnership. But over time I kept gravitating toward the the glue work: internal tooling, developer experience, the business workflows that nobody owns but everyone depends on.
That pull toward solving problems eventually led me into management, namely building small, high-ownership teams and finding I genuinely loved mentorship and cultivating engineers around me. After a few years of that I missed getting my hands dirty again, which brought me to RVO Health, where I work on a core services team owning the decision and intent systems behind our businesses core properties.
I feel like the central thread of my career carrying through all of it: I’m drawn to improving tooling, proccesses, finding ways to effectively collaborate and bring the most out of people, and the meta-work of making engineering better.
Projects
Most of my public work lives on GitHub — experiments, tools, and open-source contributions.
